Tanny here, bringing you the first edition of “Tanny’s Tunes”. This section of the site is devoted to music that makes you want to run outside and work on your suntan. So go ahead, roll the windows down, because you might as well bronze that left arm while you’re driving. It’s called multitasking folks, and it’s a cornerstone of the Tanny Mangino suntanning process!
“No Problem” by Chance the Rapper is a certified, feel-good summer anthem featuring 2 Chainz and Lil’ Wayne, so you already know it’s pretty good. In the song, Chance warns all those that might have an issue with him that they definitely don’t want any problems with him or his crew. Tanny can relate to Chance’s situation, because despite his golden skin, occasionally people still try to hate on Tanny and his extra tan crew. Sometimes, they hate on Tanny simply because of his marvelous suntan. But really, when it comes right down to it, the haters know deep down that they don’t want “No Problem” with Tanny.
They just want awe inspiring, sun-kissed skin that they can be proud of.

Probably Tanny’s favorite line of the song, Lil’ Wayne is acknowledging that he has some pretty large problems when compared to the problems of other folks. He’s likely referencing a multi-million dollar lawsuit against his former mentor/father-figure, “Birdman”. However, after acknowledging this, he immediately boasts that he is still extremely rich, using a metaphor involving his bank deposits (money) being on steroids. Since steroids make you “big” in the muscular sense, you get a clear idea of the state his bank deposits…which are similarly large.
“Petey Pablo, wave your shirt over your head like a helicopter” – 2 Chainz
This lyric reference’s the rapper Petey Pablo’s 2001 classic ode to his home state of North Carolina, “Raise Up”. You may also remember Petey Pablo from another early 2000’s classic “Freak-A-Leek”.
I like to imagine that maybe 2 Chainz is just getting so excited about getting a little sun, that he decides to take his shirt off and wave it over his head like a helicopter. Maybe you should consider doing the same!
“Milly rockin’, scoopin’ all the blessings out my lap” – Chance the Rapper
Apparently, the “Milly Rock” is a dance created by rapper 2Milly, in which the person bounces their hips and glides their arms back and forth across their torso. In this case, Chance is making sure to perform the dance while also showing you all the money he has.
