It’s obvious that the makers of Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen know what they’re doing. With the consistently high quality of their sunscreen products, it’s no wonder that Tanny’s a fan. It also doesn’t hurt that Hawaiian Tropic sponsors an annual competition for beautiful Australian women. Big Tanny is just a normal dude after all. Well, maybe not normal, with the bronzed, god-like glow of his skin and all. Whoa! Did Tanny just digress heinously from his Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 15 sunscreen review? Maybe he did, but it’s time to get this sun safe train back on the tracks. Commence the review!
Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 15 sunscreen is an above average product that provides exactly what’s printed on the label. The sunscreen has a great scent, like the majority of Hawaiian tropic products. This sunscreen applies extremely easily, and feels light giving credibility to the statement “Ultra Light” on the bottle. Since the Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 15 sunscreen has a low SPF factor, it only offers basic sun protection for a limited duration. If you’re going outside all day, this may not be the best sunscreen to choose. However, if you’re going outside for a quick run, then the Island Sport SPF 15 is just the bottle to reach for.

Protection (2/4): As noted in the quick review, the Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 15 is meant for usage in situations where the UV index is not particularly high, or where you will only be outdoors for a short period of time. The SPF 15 factor does not reach the suggested SPF level of 30 recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology. If you love this sunscreen, but want something a little more powerful, then go for the Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 30 sunscreen.
Application (4/4): If anything, this Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 15 Sunscreen review demonstrated to me how great Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen is in the application department. Once applied, you barely feel the sunscreen at all. Tanny doesn’t have to live in fear that applying this sunscreen will lead to a legendary back-acne (back-ne) break out. Really, isn’t that the greatest compliment of all?
Affordability (3/4): At around $8 for an 8 ounce bottle, the Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 15 sunscreen costs what you would expect for being a name brand product. It’s not an amazing deal, but you’re not going to break the bank either thankfully. If you want a sunscreen that feels better than the competition, then it’s definitely worth paying the small premium.
