“Tiny Cities” & The Introspective Tanning Session
Tanny here, with a another tune to help you on your quest for the perfect suntan. While Tanny loves him some good old fashioned EDM, “Tiny Cities” by Flume and Beck doesn’t necessarily fit the traditional summertime EDM song format. While the song sounds upbeat, and gets me excited about suntanning, the deep, introspective lyrics, make me want to consider the very nature of my suntan.
Listen to “Tiny Cities” – Flume featuring Beck on YouTube below:
Here are a few insightful questions I thought of while listening to this song.
- Can a great suntan surpass both time and space?
- Will my tan be there for me when everything and everyone else are gone?
- Is the movie “Interstellar” directed by Christopher Nolan actually a pretty bad movie?
- Do the people love me for me, or do they just love my radiant, all-natural tan?
- What the heck is a “flume”?
- Could this song have reached number 1 on all the charts if it were actually called, “Tanny Cities?”
#Deepthoughts, right?
While I wasn’t able to answer some of my more existential questions, I was able to look up what a “flume” was.
So compliments of Google, here is the definition of “flume.”
“Flume” (noun), pronounced: flo͞oma deep narrow channel or ravine with a stream running through it.an artificial channel conveying water, typically used for transporting logs or timber.a water-chute ride at an amusement park.
Now that you know what a “flume” is, you can get back outside and keep building that radiant suntan you were always meant to have.
Don’t be afraid. The first day of your new life is today, so get out there, and “Tan Responsibly”
Sincerely,
