Gucci Mane May or May Not Talk to You…
Gucci Mane, a.k.a “Gucci Mane La Flare, Big Guwop, Mr. Zone 6” and an assortment of other ridiculous nicknames has had a long and illustrious rap career, despite being in and out of jail frequently for the past decade. Despite his checkered past, Gucci has recently turned over a new leaf in his rap career, mainly just being sober for the first time in a very long time. Oh, also, he won’t talk to you, unless you, or someone you know has at least a million dollars.
Wow, you might say, Gucci has some high standards! To be real though, Gucci is just channeling his inner Benjamin Franklin, who basically said:
“You are who you surround yourself with”
Well, maybe Gucci is saying it in a somewhat more hood, and money-focused fashion. Hey, what do you expect from a hood philosopher though?

Choice Lyrics
“Ain’t nobody play pro ball or nothing? Ain’t nobody got nothing?”
This lyric from the spoken outro at the end is basically spoken word, but it communicates so much. Gucci and his affiliates aren’t just disappointed that they spent time speaking to someone that didn’t have a million dollars, they’re disgusted they wasted their time.
“Oh shizzle my phone’s ringing, this gotta’ be some money right here”
I mean, isn’t this everyone’s first thought when they hear the phone ringing? No it’s not your girlfriend, your mom, or your friend on the line, it’s some money! Or at least it better be someone that has some money, right!?
Based on what Gucci said, old Tanny has been thinking that maybe he shouldn’t be talking to anyone that doesn’t have a million dollar, all-natural, tan.
That’s just not Tanny though. Tanny loves you no matter what, whether you’ve got a beautiful, golden glow, or you’re just hoping to get one someday.
