Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 30 Quick Review:
Hawaiian Tropic, like Banana Boat, is an O.G. (“Original Gangster”) in the sunscreen and skin care game. There’s a reason Hawaiian Tropic has been around for a while. They make legitimately good products. The Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 30 is no exception. They also happen to employ some very good looking ladies. Just check out the recap of the “Miss Hawaiian Tropic” contest below. Is it just me, or is Australia the promised land? Ancestors of convicts be darned, old Tanny is in L-O-V-E!!! Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 30 Detailed Review:
Protection (3/4): Water resistant up to 80 minutes. Broad spectrum protection (UVA/UVB). Hawaiian Tropic Sport SPF 30 checks all the right boxes for sun protection but it doesn’t go above and beyond the call of duty. You know, like Tom Hanks in “Saving Private Ryan.” Good all-around sunscreen protection, but not necessarily great.
Application (4/4): The Hawaiian Tropic Sport SPF 30 sunscreen shines in the application category. It goes on silky smooth, like a cream cheese styled icing on Tanny’s favorite cake. The Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen also smells great, and might even attract a lady or two for you at the pool or beach. There’s nothing sexier to a lady than a bro who wears sunscreen! Plus, she knows you can afford the good stuff. It’s like rocking a name brand Ralph Lauren polo vs. the K-Mart brand polo. The ladies been knowin’ about your polo game. They also know about your sunscreen game too.
Affordability (3/4) Tanny Mangino knows how to save a dollar. He eats rice-based slurries nearly every night so he can spend a little extra on the weekends. So when it comes to sunscreen savings, Tanny is a fan. As a name brand product, the Hawaiian Tropic Sport SPF 30 is competitive at around $8 for an 8 ounce bottle. It doesn’t measure up to the big boss on value, NO-AD, so old Tanny can’t give the Hawaiian Tropic the 4/4. Hawaiian Tropic Sport SPF 30 is a great all-around sunscreen, and if buying some helps the Hawaiian Tropic hotties make a living, then Tanny is all in!
