Banana Boat Sport Performance Sunscreen SPF 50 Quick Review:
Whoa! Is that Tanny Mangino using a sunscreen that was actually designed for adults? Well, Banana Boat Sport Performance Sunscreen SPF 50 is designed for adults so it must be an adult sunscreen, right? Just to keep it 100% with ya’ll though, my mommy gave me this sunscreen too! I know what you must be thinking, “How could a man with such a brilliant, all-natural suntan still live with his parents?” Well guess what little homie? Tanny doesn’t live at home. Tanny lives on the 14th floor. Tanny’s got a doorman to keep the riff-raff of Orlando out of his building. Tanny’s got a rooftop pool for optimal all-natural, responsible tanning.
Most importantly though, Tanny’s got a mom that understands the importance of proper skin-care and protecting oneself against skin-cancer. The sunscreen game at my parents house is so deep, it flows like water. That’s real talk.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I have to say that the Banana Boat Sport Performance Sunscreen SPF 50 is a great, all-around sunscreen. All things being considered, the Banana Boat Sport Performance sets a high bar. It’s cheap, easy to apply, and offers decent broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. So grab a tube with free shipping below and get outside!

Banana Boat Sport Performance Sunscreen SPF 50 Detailed Review
Protection (4/5):
The Banana Boat Sport Performance offers a good degree of protection for several hours at a time. Like all sunscreens, you should consider reapplying after sweating heavily or toweling off. While this sunscreen doesn’t feel like you have a thick protective layer over your skin, it has ample active ingredients to protect you from sunburns. As always, consider using additional sun protection clothing/hats/umbrellas/etc. if you’re going to be outside for an extended period of time.
Application (4/5):
Unlike other sunscreens, this sunscreen apply’s easy and doesn’t feel like you need a sumo wrestler to beat it into your back. It also doesn’t leave any white residue on your skin that looks like you were out painting a house all day. The only knock I have for it is that it has a slightly more greasy feel than more expensive competitors.
Affordability (4/5)
For around $6.50, you can’t really complain. The Banana Boat Sport Performance Sunscreen SPF 50 is a name-brand, is water-resistant, easy to apply, and offers good protection. Enough said.
Remember my friends, tan responsibly!
Sincerely,
Tanny Mangino
